This was one of the best days in all the tournaments I have organised to see the gratification, smiles on these kids faces hooked up and getting awards, not to mention the adults as proud parents with their kids.

I would like to thank all the sponsors, for all the donated prizes and especially Dennis for making a big committment and sacrifice to help out and take the teenagers out one who had never fished let alone caught a fish before.

Dennis and Linda thank you from everyone and you left your mark in Dana and many memories. I never knew you sacrificed the AMS tourney for this one till now ................THANK YOU

Even the kids who did not catch or weigh in fish walked away winners with prizes.

We started off this morning with a mini shotgun start for the kids just outside the harbor entrance at 7.00am, weather was calm and flat, good for kids fishing.

The results are as follows:

2 1/2yr old Jacob took 1st place in the under 4 division (see pic)

4-5yr Division :
1st Place went to 5yr old Jade Vulgamott ( lady angler) with a 6.6lb halibut caught off the domes(see pic)
2nd Place went to 5yr old Greg Lavin with a 1.2lb mac ( see pic)

6-7yr Division:
1st Place went to 6yr old Morgan Casey (lady angler) with a 4.6lb halibut caught off the domes
2nd Place tied went to 6yr old Kyle Prinzing and 7yr old Jordan Pitkin both with 1.8lb Macs ( see Pics)

8-9yr Division:
1st Place went to 8yr old Kelly Prinzing(lady angler) with a 1.8lb Mac (see pic)
2nd Place went to 8yr old Wesley Cooper with 1.4lb Mac ( see pic)
3rd Place went to 8yr old Justin Murray with 1.2lb sand bass (see pic)

10-11yr Division:
1st place went to 11yr old Garret Voss
2nd place went to 11yr old Ryan Newton

12-13yr Division:
1st place went to 13yr old Christina Eliopolis (lady angler) with a 1.4lb mac
2nd place went to 13 yr old Zack Murray with a 1.2lb bass

Adult Division:
1st place went to Roy Casey with a 6.6lb halibut caught off the domes

2nd Place went to 16 year old Brian Isherson with a 1,8lb Mac

Lady angler Jade Vulgamott also walked away with the top angler prize with the biggest fish for the tourney with her big halibut.
