information is for the 2002 Halibut Tournament |

Enjoy
some spectacular Halibut fishing out of Dana Point Harbor. This two-day
tournament will be held out of Dana Point March 2002, 16th &
17th. RESCHEDULED March 23/24th Start fishing Saturday
23rd March at 6.00am Saturday and stop fishing Sunday 3.00pm. Weigh the
fish at the Dana Fuel dock Saturday and Sunday. Awards presentation will
be Sunday 24th at 5.00pm. No Captains meeting, tournament packages
can be picked up Friday 22nd before the tournament.
Entry
fee is $ 30.00 per angler. 1st-5th places Cash and prizes for the biggest
Halibut over 24"(min length) Prize for the first legal halibut weighed
in each day, hourly prizes and prizes for the recovery of the 3 tagged
halibut - see rules and press release for details.
Looking
for a fishing partner or to team up go to the message board and make contact
with others who are willing to share expenses.
