This information is for the MAKO ONE CHALLENGE - Entry form
Many have requested we do a one day mako tournament due to expenses and schedules of a two day event so we created The MAKO ONE CHALLENGE. The format is a brown bag one day mako tournament with simple rules. No grid maps, no captains meeting, teams may leave after 6.00pm after registration Friday 19th - no captains meeting required. If your entry and application has been mailed in before 15th September you do not have to check in Friday. If no application is received a team member is required to sign up on Fiday night at 6.00pm. All fish must be weighed in by 5.00pm at the Dana Weigh scales. IGFA rules will apply and there is no limit to the number of anglers per team. Teams may depart any harbour but must weigh in at the Dana Point Fuel Docks. Only boated mako's over 100lbs will qulaify and are required to be called in. The tournament min weight is 100lbs. Entry fee is $ 200.00 per team/boat and the jackpots/side bets are $20.00,
$ 50.00, and $100.00. This is a one-day event with
all cash been awarded at 6.30pm after the weigh scales close. All entries must be mailed in by 15th September 2003 or personally handed in at 6.00pm Friday night before start fishing. 1st Place gets 50% of all entry fees, 2nd Place 30% and 3rd place 20%.
