Enjoy some spectacular Mako fishing out of Dana Point Harbor. This is a two-day event with 100 % cash back - No expenses deducted from any entry fee or jackpots. This event has been kept much the same as 2002/3/4/5 and sponsored by Finnseeker. Since everyone was very pleased with the two divisions, one for released fish and the other for all Mako's over 100 lbs to qualify for the cash awards, including optional daily jackpots, it will remain the same for 2006 July 22nd and 23rd Event. The tournament award catagories include: Most released fish prize of $ 3000.00 , big fish catagory over the predetermined weight. Entry fee is USD $150.00 per angler ( late entries USD $ 200.00 ) and every angler enterd and present at the awards dinner will have their name placed in the drawing and the lucky angler will drive home with their truck. - This is a bonus and seperate from all the other prizes.
Schedule of Events
Friday July 21st, 2006
5pm-6:00pm Last min sign ups Registration  No checks will be accepted
6pm-7pm Captains Meeting - Fuel Docks  
Saturday July 22nd 2006
Leave at 3.00am
Start fishing
6:00am                 		 Teams can leave the harbor at
3am to get to their fishing spot
No lines in the water until 6.00am (chumming is allowed)
6:00pm Mandatory all boats back in the harbor & check in


Sunday July 23rd 2006
Leave at 3.00am  but start fishing at 6:00am Start fishing at 6.00am. NO Lines in the water  before this but- Teams can leave the harbor at 3am to get to their fishing spot and start chumming
5:00pm Mandatory all boats back in the harbor & check in 
6.00pm
 Tournament awards & Payout - No Host Dinner - TBD

Every person entered can win the Brand New 4 x 2 Truck that we have purchased to give away in a drawing on Sunday night at the awards Dinner as in previous years.
